2) Registering a business in China is about to get a whole lot easier (and cheaper)

Registering a business in China is about to become less complex, and a little bit easier on the pocket!

This comes after the official announcement from the State Administration of Taxation (SAT) on September 10, that all companies newly established will no longer be required to obtain the tax registration certificate when registering a new business.

The State Administration for Industry and Commerce (SAIC) and all of its local bureaus shall commence with the implementation of a unified social credit code system that integrates 3 documents into one special business license with a unified social credit code on it. The 3 documents that are set to be integrated into one include:

  • business license
  • unified code certificate
  • tax registration certificate

The policy change is set to take effect on 1 October 2015

This is great news for everyone looking to register a new company in China in the coming months. See how this will benefit business people here.

3) How To Register Trademarks In China: Beat The Block!

As China attracts more global attention, a lot has been made of intellectual property rights (IPR) issues, such as their theft or misappropriation.

This has prompted many SMEs who are operating in China to ask Hongda how to register trademarks in China.

Horror stories about IPR theft are everywhere these days, be it high profile cases of alleged IPR theft or cases where trademarks have been blocked by zealous local companies who 'got there first.'

But what can we do to prevent IPR issues in China, and can Hongda offer clear information on how to register our trademark or IPR in China?

Keep reading as Hongda explores how registering your trademarks will be beneficial if you're doing business in China.

4) New Preferential Tax Policies to Boost SMEs’ Development in China

Over the last decade, China has introduced a series of fiscal policy initiatives to boost small and medium enterprises’ (SMEs) development and innovation efforts. Thanks to special supporting funds, tax incentives and administrative benefits, the SME sector currently represents a key segment of China’s economy, contributing 60 percent of the country’s GDP, 50 percent of fiscal and tax revenue, and 75 percent of urban employment. - See more at: http://www.china-briefing.com/news/2015/09/16/new-preferential-tax-policies-boost-smes-development-china.html?__scoop_post=a5399340-5c6e-11e5-8f90-00221934899c&__scoop_topic=4585657#__scoop_post=a5399340-5c6e-11e5-8f90-00221934899c&__scoop_topic=4585657
